The Problem

One of DTAC's problems was managing its three domains simultaneously. The company was looking for a tool that automated AD management tasks, including creating and modifying users in bulk, scheduled reports, and automated summary reports. Veeraswamy Kameela, the end user computing (EUC) manager for DTAC, also wanted a solution that could easily perform AD operations like user onboarding and offboarding, as the current process was clumsy and error-prone.

The Solution

DTAC found its solution using ManageEngine's ADManager Plus. With ADManager Plus, the IT team could manage all three domains in a single window. They were able to integrate with HRMS applications, external databases, and help desk tools to streamline identity provisioning and deprovisioning, password resets, account unlocks, and other critical actions. The added enhancements helped them automate most tasks, making their jobs easier. They found the reports feature to be excellent and have used almost all the 150+ reports available in ADManager Plus to meet InfoSec audit requirements and management review purposes.

ADManager Plus also helped with task delegation by managing help desk technicians and providing audit support, as they could also update all the stake holders about the status of tasks at each stage of the workflow using real-time notifications.
