A relationship diagram, in general, illustrates the logical structure of a database. It's a graphical representation of an information system that shows the relationships of entity sets stored in a database. An entity, in the context of ManageEngine AppCreator, refers to a form.
In ManageEngine AppCreator, a relationship diagram displays the structure of an application in terms of forms (with their fields), and the relationship between related forms. The following image illustrates a sample relationship diagram in ManageEngine AppCreator. Forms A, B, and C are related, while Form D is a standalone form.
Each entity represents a form, with the form name as header and the fields listed beneath the header. Arrows are used to link the connected forms. Looking at the relationship diagram increases the understanding of an application structure and help us visualize how forms are related.
