Spotlight

Spotlight is a dynamic recommendations engine from Analytics Plus that delivers insightful revelations from your IT data. Spotlight analyzes all key data points from your IT applications and automatically identifies inefficiencies. In addition to pointing out these inefficiencies, Spotlight automatically recommends corrective action to mitigate them. This saves countless hours spent in analyzing dashboards to identify bottlenecks and come up with steps to address them.

Spotlight currently works on data from ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus Cloud and will soon extend to support other applications.

Accessing Spotlight

• Open a Workspace.
• Click the More option from the side panel and choose Spotlight.

  

• In the page that appears, you can view the recommendations tailored to your data.

Each recommendation is assigned a priority level, such as Critical, Important, High, or Low, helping users navigate the extensive range of recommendations and take appropriate action.

Refreshing recommendations

Analytics Plus automatically processes the logic and delivers updated recommendations each time the data is synced from ServiceDesk Plus. However, users can refresh and regenerate the recommendations at any time by clicking the refresh icon at the top. Please note the process time may take some time, depending on the volume of data being processed.
