Setting the correct folder permissions for upgrade

The Analytics Plus installation directory should have the following permissions configured for a successful upgrade. Follow the steps below to set up the necessary permissions.

• Navigate to theAnalytics Plus installation directory. The default directory is C:\ManageEngine\AnalyticsPlus.

  

• Right-click the Analytics Plus folder and select Properties.

  

• Head to the Security tab.

  

• Click Edit and then click Add. In the pop-up that appears, enter Everyone and click OK.

  

• Provide Full control for the Everyone group listed under the Group or user names section, and click OK.

  

Note: Please delete the Patch folder present in the Analytics Plus installation directory (ManageEngine\AnalyticsPlus) before you try to upgrade again.
