A downloaded file copied to a pen drive/upload etc is not getting copied.

Problem

You downloaded a file and copied it to a pen drive/upload etc but it is not getting copied.

Cause

You may face this problem if:

1. The downloaded file is sensitive, and the destination is not marked within the enterprise perimeter.
2. More time is needed to scan the new files

Resolution

Extend enterprise perimeter

The enterprise perimeter can be extended using the following steps :

Adding device/website to the boundary :

• Go to the Policies tab
• Select your policy
• Under False Positives, select Enterprise Perimeter
• Add devices to the perimeter using the Fine Tune option

Note: After monitoring requests from similar pen drives, if the issue is a recurring one, ask the end user to raise a false positive from their desktop/laptop and then add device/website to the boundary
