First discovered in 2016, the infostealing malware LokiBot mainly targets Android phones and Windows devices. This malware has been known to serve malicious ads to gain revenue and backdoor access to infected devices.
Once it has infected a device, the malware looks for applications that store login credentials, like browsers or email programs, and steals and exfiltrates those credentials for the attackers. LokiBot also includes a keylogging functionality, enabling it to capture login credentials as they are entered into the system by the user.
After successful credential theft, an attacker can steal sensitive data, gain access to other systems within the organization's network, or achieve other goals. Watch the video to learn more—three minutes is all it takes!
