Error: Device not reachable -  How should I resolve this ?

  • This error might occur because the device is not pingable from OpManager server.
  • Try pinging the device from Command prompt / Terminal. 
  • If the response to the ping command is something like 'Ping request could not find host', it is an indication that the device is unreachable and hence the device will not be added to OpManager.

Note: We can still add the device by using the device's IP Address. The device will be added but will not be monitored by OpManager.
