DIRTT's IT help desk team received a lot of tickets from various teams about simple tasks like modifying AD contacts or distribution groups. With ADManager Plus, Carlisle and his team were able to delegate the necessary permissions to the teams raising AD contact and distribution group modification tickets. This has helped these teams modify AD contacts and distribution groups by themselves, reducing their reliance on the IT team and saving the team a lot of time and effort. By granting the right amount of permissions to other teams, the IT team was also able to ensure their environment's security.
ADManager Plus simplifies the onboarding process by providing standardized user creation templates, which help administrators provision licenses and permissions right at the time of onboarding. Using this feature of ADManager Plus, Carlisle was able to streamline the onboarding process and assign Microsoft 365 licenses automatically.
Additionally, ADManager Plus' more than 200 reports on users' real last logon times; inactive AD users; recently created, modified or deleted user accounts; distribution lists; and so on have been a great help for the team.
