  2. After migration, ensure that the patch and software repositories are reachable/accessible from the Endpoint Central server.

Steps

  1. Stop the Endpoint Central before starting the migration process. To check if the server has stopped, go to task manager and ensure that no processes are running from Endpoint Central folder. If you have a Failover Server, ensure that you stop it before stopping the Endpoint Central Server.
  2. Copy the entire Endpoint Central server folder from the old location and paste it in the new location.
  3. Navigate to <Installation_Dir>\conf in the new location and delete ws.modtime file.
  4. Run command prompt as administrator, execute command runOnceAsAdmin.bat from the new location <Installation_Dir>\bin.
  5. Start the Endpoint Central Server. If you have a Failover server, start the Endpoint Central server first, and then start the Failover server.

You have successfully migrated Endpoint Central server from one drive/location to another within the same computer.

Note: While migrating from one driver to another, do not start the server with the Failover Server.
