Steps to change the database port number in Exchange

Follow the steps given below to identify the current database of Exchange Reporter Plus,

  1. Navigate to <installation_dir>/conf/. In the database_params.conf file, you can find all database-related parameters.
  2. Check the name in the drivername parameter.
  3. You can determine the type of database by the driver's name. For example, org.postgresql.Driver indicates a PostgreSQL database, while net.sourceforge.jtds.jdbc.Driver suggests a Microsoft SQL database.

Note: Changing the port number will not affect existing data but changing the database name would.
