Supported web browsers

ManageEngine SharePoint Manager Plus requires the installation of one of the below web browsers in the system in which it is installed to connect to the web client:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 10 and above
  • Mozilla Firefox 3 and above
  • Google Chrome
  • Microsoft Edge browser.

Supported SharePoint platforms

ManageEngine SharePoint Manager Plus supports both online and on premise SharePoint servers.The solution supports the following SharePoint versions:

  • Microsoft SharePoint 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019
  • Office 365

.NET and PowerShell requirements

SharePoint Manager Plus requires Microsoft .Net Framework version 4.8 and PowerShell version 5 to be installed in the system.

  • To check if Microsoft .NET Framework is installed, open PowerShell as administrator. Enter the following command (Get-ItemProperty "HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v4\Full").Version. Check the displayed version. If the version is less than 4.8, install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 from here.
  • To check if PowerShell is installed, open PowerShell. If PowerShell is installed, check for its version number by running the command $PSVersionTable. If the version is below 5 or if PowerShell is not installed, install PowerShell version 5.1 from here.
