Folder redirection refers to the convention of moving the path of standard user profile directories to a new location in the network. Folder Redirection enables users to access documents even if they log in from another machine in the same domain and ensures increased safety by compiling all the confidential folders to a separate folder and securing their authentication or by saving these folders by redirecting them to an encrypted drive.
