Integrate Zia, Powered by OpenAI, with Remote Access Plus

Enhance your Remote Access Plus experience by integrating Zia, powered by OpenAI. This guide will walk you through the steps to seamlessly integrate Zia with Remote Access Plus, enabling automatic chat suggestions, response generation, and sentence completion to improve your remote support efficiency.

Note: This integration is currently available only for the cloud version.

Step 1: Create an OpenAI Account

1. Go to the OpenAI Platform.
2. Create an account if you don't already have one.

Note: This feature is limited to OpenAI subscribers. Even if free account users generate an API key and integrate it with Remote Access Plus, the feature won't be functional without a subscription.

Step 2: Generate an API Key

1. Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner.
2. Select View API Keys.

Step 3: Create a New API Key

1. On the next page, click + Create new secret key.
2. Copy the generated key.

Note: You can't access the secret key later, so make sure to save it securely.

Step 4: Access Remote Access Plus

1. Open the Remote Access Plus web console.
2. Navigate to the Admin tab.

Step 5: Configure Zia Settings

1. Under Integrations, click on Zia Settings.

Step 6: Validate the API Key

1. Paste the API key generated in Step 3.
2. Click Validate.

Step 7: Integration Complete

1. Once the API key is successfully validated, your OpenAI account will be integrated with Remote Access Plus.

Note: Do not share or publicly display the API Key, as it provides access to your account.

Using Zia for Automatic Chat Suggestions

Step 1: Start a Remote Support Session

1. Click Connect to initiate a session.

Step 2: Initiate a Conversation

1. Use the Chat option to start a conversation with the end user.

Step 3: Automatic Response Generation

1. Zia will analyze the session and chat to generate responses.

Step 4: Generate and Send Responses

1. Click Generate response for Zia to create a reply.
2. Click Enter to send the response.
3. Use Re-generate response or Stop generating if needed.

Rephrasing Chat Suggestions from Zia

Step 1: Rephrase the Entire Response

1. Click the Rephrase option at the bottom of the chat.

Step 2: Rephrase Specific Parts

1. Select the text you want to rephrase.
2. Click Rephrase.

1. Go to the Zia Settings page.
2. Enable the Smart Compose option in the top right corner.
