Global Search

Overview

The Global Search feature in ManageEngine Log360 allows you to search across all major sections of the product console, such as Reports, Compliance, Search, Security, Alerts, and Settings. It is accessible from all tabs of the product console, enabling quick navigation to specific features, report categories, configuration pages, or compliance standards, improving the efficiency and productivity of SOC teams. Global Search displays tab-specific content, allowing you to quickly view information from the respective sections without navigating between tabs.

For instance, typing “Windows” in the Global Search bar displays all related reports, settings, and configuration options.

Using Global Search

To open Global Search, click the search bar at the top of the product console or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Space.

When opened, Global Search displays results and suggestions organized into the following sections:

Recent Searches

This section lists your most recent queries, allowing you to revisit reports, settings, or configurations you accessed earlier.

Frequent Searches

This section shows the most commonly searched items across the product console. It highlights popular reports and configurations used by administrators and analysts.

What's New in Log360

This section highlights newly added features in the product console. Clicking a feature takes you directly to its corresponding page in the product console.
