Multi-cloud infrastructure monitoring

These are the questions asked during 'Multi-cloud infrastructure monitoring' training.

FAQ's

  • We have our own cloud service (eNlight 360) and do not use Azure, GCP, or Amazon cloud services. In that case, is there any chance to configure our own cloud service into Applications Manager for us to monitor our resources? If there are some APIs available in your cloud service, you can try using our REST API monitor for monitoring your cloud resources. https://www.manageengine.com/products/applications_manager/help/rest-api-monitor.html
  • Can we set any custom threshold limit to get alerts for license utilization before it reaches 100% in cloud monitoring? In Applications Manager, we monitor licenses based on the billing cost per service used in Azure or AWS. You can configure thresholds per service, region, month-to-date, etc., and receive alarms if costs exceed those thresholds. Some of the monitored attributes include:

    AWS:
Month-to-Date Spend by Service - Cost (USD)
    Month-to-Date Services Cost (USD)
    Azure:
Billing Cycle Start-to-Date Spend by Region - Region Cost (USD)
Billing Cycle Start-to-Date Spend by Resource Group - Resource Group Cost (USD)
Billing Cycle Start-to-Date Spend by Service - Service Cost (USD)
