However, the process is tedious and time-consuming. It also requires a lot of precision, as even a single activity that skips your attention might wreak havoc. Exchange Reporter Plus' overall organization traffic reports simplify this process. The tool performs a detailed email traffic analysis across multiple Exchange servers.
With the overall organizational traffic reports, you can:
- Check the total number and size of messages sent and received in an Exchange organization over any period of time.
- Track the total number of internal and external messages communicated.
- Find the average number of internal and external messages communicated every day.
- Monitor the size of messages sent and received over a week, a month, or any custom period.
- Gauge the average size of internal and external messages sent and received in an Exchange organization on any single day.
Report on and audit Exchange Online using Exchange Reporter Plus.
The reports under this category include:
- Organization Traffic Summary: Shows the email traffic summary for the entire organization during the specified period.
- Sent Traffic by Messages: Shows the total number of emails sent, and the percentage of internal and external emails sent during the specified period.
- Sent Traffic by Size: Shows the total size of emails sent, and the numbers of internal and external emails based on size sent during the specified period.
- Received Traffic by Messages: Shows the total number of emails received, and the numbers of internal and external emails received during the specified period.
- Received Traffic by Size: Shows the total size of emails received, and the individual sizes of internal and external emails received during the specified period.
To generate overall organization traffic reports in Exchange Reporter Plus,
- Click the Reports tab.
- Navigate to Exchange Server > Email Traffic > Overall Organization Traffic.
- Select a suitable report and enter the inputs like Organization name, Period, and Granularity.
That's it. The report gets generated immediately.
