Managing network devices

Grouping Network Devices:

The discovered network devices can be grouped together for ease of deployment.

Note:

Since firmware patch deployment can have only devices belonging to the same vendor, OS and series as targets simultaneously, we recommend grouping devices based on the same.

Follow the below steps to create a device group

  • Go to Network Devices > Device Groups.
  • Click on Create Group
  • Give a desired name and description for the group
  • Under the Available Devices tab, you will find the list of managed devices. You can use the search field to find devices based on IP address, vendor name, and OS.
  • Select the desired devices and click Next
  • Verify your selection under the Selected Devices tab and click on Create Group.

    • If you wish to modify/delete a group, you can do so by selecting a particular group, and clicking on modify/delete option available under the Action column.
