VMP web console

Steps to access the web console:

  1. Open your web browser.
  2. For http secure communication, type https://HostName:8383. For http communication, type http://HostName:8020. By default, the connection is established on http port 8020 and https port 8383.
  3. Press enter.
    Note: The communication between the Central server and agent is completely secured with a SSL certificate that comes bundled along with the product package. You can also import a third party SSL certificate. Learn how to secure the client-server communication with a third party SSL.
  4. If you're a first time user, use the default username and password as admin and admin.
  5. Click Login to access the console.

Note: To securely access your web console, learn about changing your password. After changing the password, you can use the same at the login page to access the console.
