SNMP Traps

PAM360 facilitates raising SNMP Traps to your management systems on the occurrence of various password actions and audit events.

Configuring the SNMP

PAM360 has built-in support to send a SNMP v2c trap to the desired host and port. The varbinds include the resource name, account name, name of the user who operated, IP address from which the user operated, date and time and the reason of the operation that resulted in the event.

  1. Navigate to Admin >> Integration >> SNMP Traps

  2. In the dialog box that opens,
    1. Switch to SNMP Trap Receiver tab
    2. Enter the Receiver Host Name of the receiver to whom you wish to send the traps.
    3. Specify its Port and the SNMP Community.
    4. Click Save.
