Instead of relying on the public internet, Direct Connect provides a private, high-bandwidth, low-latency connection to AWS, offering more consistent and reliable performance for workloads and data transfers.

Service Provider | The name of the service provider with the connection. |
Partner Name | The name of the Direct Connect service provider associated with the connection. |
AWS Logical Device | The endpoint that terminates the logical connection, which may differ from the physical connection device. |
Port Encryption Status | The MAC Security (MACsec) port link status of the connection. |
VLAN | The ID of the Virtual LAN. |
