Microsoft Azure Connection

Microsoft Azure Connection - An Overview

Azure Connection deals with the network connections between various Azure resources and external systems. It can be either cloud-to-cloud scenarios or on-premises-to-cloud scenarios. You have multiple options available to establish the connection like VNet-to-VNet, Site-to-site (IPsec), ExpressRoute and so on. Applications Manager's Azure Connection monitoring tool keeps track of the key performance metrics, helps to gain indepth insights and thus effectively troubleshoots the issues.

Monitored Parameters

Navigate to the Category View by clicking the Monitors tab. Hover over 'Child Monitors' under Microsoft Azure in the Cloud Apps table, and then select the Connections monitor from the displayed tooltip. This action will display the bulk configuration view for Azure Connections in three tabs:

  • Availability tab gives the Availability history for the past 24 hours or 30 days.
  • Performance tab gives the Health Status and events for the past 24 hours or 30 days.
  • List view enables you to perform bulk admin configurations.

The Microsoft Azure monitor provides a brief detail of the Azure Connection under the given subscription. Following are the list of metrics monitored in Azure Connection Monitoring in their corresponding tabs:
