Bookmark Management

About Bookmark Management

Endpoint Central's Bookmark Manager helps IT admins optimize user productivity by deploying pre-approved web applications and websites as bookmarks within the SaaS-centric work environment. This streamlines access to essential tools, eliminating the need for searching and enhancing overall user experience.

The Bookmark Manager enhances user productivity by deploying essential web applications as bookmarks. This centralized approach prioritizes IT-managed bookmarks, ensuring consistent access to critical resources. By organizing bookmarks, IT teams can optimize user navigation. IT-managed bookmarks are protected from unauthorized modifications, maintaining a secure work environment.

Note: Bookmark Manager is only supported for Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and other Chromium-based browsers.

Benefits of Bookmark Management

GPOs and Chrome's ADMX templates are traditional methods for deploying bookmarks, but they are limited to on-premises networks. As remote work increases, IT admins need a more flexible solution. Endpoint Central offers a robust alternative, allowing for efficient deployment of bookmark policies to numerous devices simultaneously. This eliminates manual overhead and ensures consistent access to critical web resources across diverse work environments.

Implementing Bookmark Management

IT admins can use the bookmarks bar to streamline user access to mission-critical web applications and websites. Endpoint Central's Bookmark Manager enables the silent deployment of these resources directly to the bookmarks bar, enhancing user productivity and efficiency. Here's how to use Endpoint Central to add bookmarks to users' browsers:

  1. Open Endpoint Central console and navigate to Browsers -> Policies -> Browser Customization.
