An internet connection is required to fetch warranty details and manage mobile devices. If you want to manage mobile devices, you must configure the proxy to allow connections reaching the internet. You can choose this option if your Central Server does not have an internet connection or if the server is located in a closed network like DMZ. By choosing this option, you can download the missing patches manually using a specialized tool designed for patch management. Using this option, you can automate proxy configuration using a script. All the required specifications can be customized in a script, and the Proxy PAC URL can be specified. You will have to provide authentication details for configuring the proxy.
