US government probes VPN hack within federal agencies

On April 29, 2022, the United States government investigated a hack against federal agencies. This is the third time the US government is investigating an attack on federal agencies in 2022.

The breach targeted a popular virtual private network (VPN) known as Pulse Connect Secure. According to public contract records, more than a dozen federal agencies run Pulse Connect Secure on their networks.

The makers of the VPN confirmed that a minimal number of systems were penetrated. The CISA and the FBI have been working with victims of the attack and Pulse Connect Secure continuously to kick out the intruders and find more evidence.

This video talks more about the VPN hack and how the US government is probing the VPN hack to find more evidence. Watch the video to learn more.
