Group templates

M365 Manager Plus' management templates help to standardize the attributes involved in Microsoft 365 group creation, and modification processes. These templates help the technicians save a huge amount of time and effort when they don't have to apply the same value to each Microsoft 365 object individually. M365 Manager Plus provides three types of group creation templates, each for:

• Microsoft 365 group
• Distribution/mail-enabled security group
• Dynamic distribution group

The attributes involved in the creation of each of the groups may vary. But the steps to create templates remain the same. The management templates provided by M365 Manager Plus come in two categories:

The group creation templates can be found by navigating to the Management tab → Group Management in the left pane → Group Creation Templates

• Creation templates: Pre-configure all the standard values and settings such as owners, message size restrictions, moderation settings, etc. leaving only the variables like group name, members, custom attributes, etc. to the help desk technicians.
