View dynamic distribution group members in Exchange Online

This topic explains how to view the details of a public folder, such as the display name, creation time, last user modified time, last user access, owner details, deleted items, item size, and more.

The Exchange Admin Center (EAC) does not provide any ready-to-view report on public folder statistics. Technicians have to rely on PowerShell scripts to view the details they require. Hence every time a detail is needed, the technicians have to write a PowerShell script using appropriate cmdlet. This is a time-consuming process because, I addition to the time taken to write the scripts, the time taken to show the results increase if your organization has a large number of public folders to be fetched.

Public folder reports provided by M365 Manager Plus

M365 Manager Plus provides one-click access to built-in reports on public folders. These reports provided real-time data which can be exported to CSV, PDF, XLSX or HTML formats.

Steps to view public folder statistics using M365 Manager Plus

1. Login to M365 Manager Plus
2. Go to the Reports tab
3. Navigate to Exchange Online > Other Exchange Reports in the left pane.
4. Under the Public Folder Reports category, click on Mail Enabled Public Folder Statistics or Public Folder Activity based on your requirement.

All the reports provided by M365 Manager Plus can be scheduled to be generated at regular intervals and have them delivered to your inbox automatically. To schedule a report, look for the Schedule Report option at the top right corner.
