SharePoint Online is a collaboration tool that enables teams to work together by providing group access to required resources. You can share an entire site or just a file or a folder. Here's how:
- Select the file or folder that you want to share, and click on the Share icon.
- From the pop-up screen, you can add the email addresses of the people you want to share the file or folder with. You can also add a message to be sent with the link. Alternatively you can click Copy Link, so that the link can be pasted in a website or text message.
- To set who can access the link, click on the Who would you like this link to work for button, which shows the currently selected option. You can see the four access levels in the image.
You can also enable editing and downloading of the files here.
- Once you are done, click Apply and then Send.
