Whiteboard integration in Microsoft Teams meetings is powered by the Microsoft Whiteboard web app. It is a free-form, digital canvas that facilitates Teams' meeting participants to collaborate and brain storm by drawing, sketching or writing together on a shared canvas.
To enable Whiteboard,
- Go to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
- Click on Settings, and then choose Services & add-ins.
- Select Whiteboard and toggle Turn Whiteboard on or off for your entire organization to On.
- Click Save.
On joining a meeting in Teams, share the whiteboard with all the participants of a team meeting by clicking on the Microsoft Whiteboard under the Share option. The Whiteboard option is currently limited to Microsoft Teams clients on Windows 10, Mac, and the web app. Users accessing Teams from iOS and Android app can only view whiteboards that have already been created.
