Schedule Reports
M365 Security Plus allows you to schedule audit profiles, alert profiles, and monitoring profiles.
This section shows you how to:
Note: Before proceeding to create, modify, or delete a scheduler please go to the Audit/Alert/Monitoring tab, based on the scheduler you need to work on. For example, go to the Audit tab to create/modify/delete an audit profile scheduler, and so on.
To create a scheduler
- Select the Schedule Reports option found at the top right corner.
- Click Create Schedule at the top right corner of the page
- Enter a Name and Description for the scheduler that you are about to create
- In the Microsoft 365 Tenant drop-down, select the tenant for which you want to generate reports.

Enter a unique name with less than 150 characters to identify this schedule |

Enter a description corresponding to the schedule name. |
Microsoft 365 tenant |
Select the Microsoft 365 tenant from the drop down. The Drop Down lists all configured Microsoft 365 tenants. |
Select Reports |
Select a report from the list of all "Available Reports" that you wish to schedule under the given "Scheduler Name". |
Schedule Report Frequency |
The "Selected Reports" can be scheduled on a 'Daily', 'Weekly', or 'Monthly' basis. Using the custom option you can define your own custom frequency at which the scheduler must be run. |
Schedule Report Format |
The Scheduled Reports can be stored in 'PDF', 'XLS', 'HTML', or 'CSV' formats. They are stored at the "File Storage Path", which can be modified by clicking on the "File Storage Path" link. When the storage path is changed, you can opt to move all the previously scheduled reports to the new location. |
Email Notification |
The scheduled report can be e-mailed to any email-id entered in the "specify email address" box on providing a check against "Email this scheduled report". |
- Select the report that you want to be generated from the available list of reports.
- Select the frequency at which the scheduler should be run.
- Select the format in which the reports are to be stored. The different options that are available are PDF, CSV, XLS and HTML. You can also define the location where the reports will be stored by clicking on the Storage Path link.
- Select the notification template checkbox to include your own custom message with the email notification.
- Mark the Don’t send empty reports option to stop sending reports that have no results to display.
- Mark the Compress files to ZIP option to receive the scheduled reports in a zipped folder.
- Click on Save.
Modify an existing scheduler
- Select the Schedule Reports option found at the top right corner.
- Click the icon located in the 'action' column of the scheduler that you wish to edit.
- Modify the fields that you wish to change and click Save.
Delete an existing scheduler
- Select the Schedule Reports option found at the top right corner.
- Click the icon located in the 'action' column of the scheduler that you wish to delete.
- In the pop-up that appears, click Yes to delete the scheduler.
