How to import vulnerability details from Tenable.io?

Description

To import vulnerability details from Tenable.io, the user should possess Can View access control permission. You can see the error message, while configuring Tenable.io Integration Settings:
Data can't be viewed as export permission is not available.

Steps

The following steps will help in resolution:

Create a permission configuration in Tenable.io console,

  • Navigate to Settings-> Access Control-> Permissions.
  • Click on Create Permission and provide the respective admin user details.

  • Select Can View option under Permissions and click on Save.

  • On Patch Manager Plus console, click on Retry Sync near the error message to refresh the data.
  • The data will be imported from Tenable.io and the user will now be able to view and remediate the vulnerabilities by installing the appropriate patch.
