Patch Download Failure - "Error 404"

Problem

You are trying to download patches of Microsoft/ other vendors. However, Patch download fails with error message: "Error Code 404".

Cause

The possible reasons could be:

• The Patch is a Feature Pack, hence can't be downloaded directly.
• The Patch is an older version of Java (Java Versions 6 and 7), and so it can't be downloaded properly.

Resolution

• If the Patch is a Feature Pack, refer Feature Pack Deployment and follow the steps given in that document.
• If the Patch is an older version of Java, refer to this document and follow the steps as mentioned there.
• If it's none of the above-mentioned reasons, kindly Contact Support.
