Configure Azure AD DS in ADAudit Plus
Configure a new Azure AD DS domain
If you want to add a new Azure AD DS domain in ADAudit Plus, follow the steps below:
- Install ADAudit Plus on any VM that has a proper connectivity with the Azure AD DS domain.
- Log in to your ADAudit Plus web console.
- Click Domain Settings at the top-right and then click +Add Domain.
- Enter your Domain Name and select Azure AD DS as your Domain Type.
- Check Authentication and enter your credentials.
- Click Discover domain controllers, specify the name of your domain controller.
- Enter the Event Hub Name and the Event Hub Consumer Group.
Note: You can enter "$Default" in the Event Hub Consumer Group field if no other tools are collecting events from the Event Hub.
- Paste the Connection string–primary key that you had copied earlier (step 9 under Create an event hub) into the Event Hub Connecting String field.
- Click Save.
Configure an existing domain as Azure AD DS
If your Azure AD DS domain has been automatically configured in ADAudit Plus, follow the the steps below to add your Event Hub details:
- Log in to your ADAudit Plus web console.
- Click Domain Settings at the top right.
- Hover over your configured domain and select Attach AzureADDS Domain.
- In the pop-up, enter the Event Hub Name and your Event Hub Consumer Group.
Note: You can enter "$Default" in the Event Hub Consumer Group field if no other tools are collecting events from the Event Hub.
- Paste the Connection string–primary key that you had copied earlier (step 9 under Create an event hub) into the Event Hub Connection String field.
- Click Save.
