Power BI Integration

Power BI is a data visualization software which converts complex data into comprehensible reports. Integrate ADManager Plus with Power BI to forward management logs from the application and to gain insights about your Active Directory, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365 environments.

ADManager Plus requires a Push URL to forward logs to Power BI. To obtain that,

1. Log in to Power BI.
2. In the left pane, click Workspaces and click the Create a workspace option.
3. Enter a suitable name and description and click Save.
4. Navigate to the Home tab and click on the workspace that you just created.
5. Click + New and select Streaming dataset.
6. Select API as the data source and click Next.
7. Enter a suitable name for the dataset and add the following entries in the Values from Stream field.

8. Enable the Historical data analysis button.
9. Click Create and copy the Push URL displayed on the page.

Steps to integrate ADManager Plus with Power BI

1. Log in to ADManager Plus and navigate to the Admin tab.
2. Under System Settings, click Integrations.
3. Click Power BI located under Log Forwarding.
4. In the Power BI Push URL field, enter the Push URL to the dataset that you created in Power BI and click Save.
