Challenges in blocking Devices via Secure USB

This document discusses the challenges in using Secure USB configuration to block certain devices in ManageEngine's Endpoint Central.

What was the problem?

There is a delay in blocking newly connected USB devices due to the time it takes for the system to recognize the device. During this delay, if any process begins involving the device, it cannot be blocked immediately because the operation has already started.

How do I fix it?

To apply this fix, follow the steps below:

1. Login to your Endpoint Central console; Click on your current build number in the top right corner.
2. You'll be able to find the latest build applicable to you. Download the PPM and update.
