Problem
You are trying to establish remote connection to a computer using Endpoint Central and you are connection fails.
Cause
You cannot establish a connection because some of the web browsers, like Chrome, Firefox and Edge no longer supports the "Java Plugin", which is essential for remote connections.
Resolution
You will have to manually download the Endpoint Central’s Remote Control component. Follow the steps mentioned below to install the component, as explained in the images below:
You can see that you will be able to connect to remote computers using Endpoint Central. This Endpoint Central's Remote Control component is available on the Endpoint Central server as shown below. You can download this component, on any viewer machine, if remote connection is not established due to java plugin issue.
Note: If you have problems in installaing the Remote Control component, then you will have to right click on the downloaded msi and click "unblock" against security to enable installation. You can now see that the component is installed successfully.
