Integration of Jira Service Desk with Firewall Analyzer
The Firewall Analyzer integration with Jira Service Desk is an effective way of registering real-time alerts as issues in the Jira Service Desk platform. Technicians can easily monitor security and traffic events and act immediately upon issues.
Configure Jira Service Desk in Firewall Analyzer
- Login to the Firewall Analyzer UI, and go to Settings > General Settings > Third Party Integrations > Jira Service Desk > +Configure
- Enter your Jira Service Desk URL by providing your server name/DNS and port, user name and password.
- Click Validate to test your configuration to proceed further.
- Select any one of the options in Alarm Settings to instruct Firewall Analyzer how you want to receive the Alarm notification when the same alert reoccurs
- Choose Create new issue, if you want it to be reported as a new incident.
- Alternatively, if the same issue has occurred in a specified number of days, you can reopen the recently closed issue relevant to the alert.
- Click on Save to complete the configuration process
