A remote code execution vulnerability was discovered in ADSelfService Plus and has been fixed.
For certain use cases, ADSelfService Plus employs PowerShell scripts to perform password changes for end-users. The user credentials provided during password change were not appropriately sanitized before inclusion into the PowerShell scripts leaving the product vulnerable to exploitation via PowerShell injection and remote code execution.
ADSelfService Plus builds 6101 and below are affected by this.
This is a critical issue.
We have fixed this vulnerability in build 6102 of ADSSP. Update to the latest version of ADSelfService Plus using the service pack.
This issue was reported by STM Cyber via BugBounty.
