Schaltbau GmbH is a semiconductor and electro-mechanical component manufacturing company headquartered in Munich, Germany. Schaltbau GmbH's employees had trouble tracking the expiration dates of their AD passwords. They did not change their passwords until after they expired, as there was no proper means to alert them about the impending password expiration date. This affected their productivity, because they didn't know when their passwords expired and had to spend a significant part of their workdays resetting their passwords, bound by the help desk's availability.
