ServiceDesk Plus, the full-stack enterprise service management platform, is replacing its existing asset inventory agent with a unified agent courtesy of Endpoint Central (formerly Desktop Central), the unified endpoint management solution from ManageEngine. The transition to a unified agent helps IT administrators harness Endpoint Central (formerly Desktop Central)' agent-based asset inventory capabilities in ServiceDesk Plus.
Discover Windows, Linux, and macOS machines by performing agent-based scans. Maintain uniformity of data fetched across these workstations.
Take control of IT assets from ServiceDesk Plus for remote troubleshooting operations. (Available as part of the UEM Remote Access Plus add-on.)
Monitor processes, services, software, users, etc. on your organization's remote computers. (Available as part of the UEM Remote Access Plus add-on.)
Schedule and broadcast announcements to all users within a network. Collaborate with technicians and remotely assist end users over text, voice, and video chat. (Available as part of the UEM Remote Access Plus add-on.)
Along with these capabilities, the unified agent also helps IT administrators manage their IT assets with automated warranty updates, Wake-on-LAN, and much more.*
