Kurt Weber, chief information officer at ACSI, recounted the challenges the company faced before introducing Log360 in the organization. One of the company's main issues involved too many failed login attempts and account lockouts. Weber's team was unable to keep track of users who were configuring their mobile devices, such as smartphones or tablets, to access email accounts or other services. This resulted in frequent account lockouts, potentially due to incorrect login credentials or misconfigurations on these personal devices.

Once the solution was deployed, they were able to track and analyze account lockouts effectively with help of Log360's Active Directory auditing component. Log360's account lockout analyzer provided Weber and his team with insights on all critical Active Directory changes, allowing them to spot account lockouts faster and also detect indicators of compromise.

Data protection through file integrity monitoring

File integrity monitoring helped ACSI gain better visibility into file server activities and track the changes happening on file shares. With this feature, the IT team was able to pay attention to several aspects, like monitoring data placement or identifying excessive folder creation.
