How to create a device group?
Follow the steps given below to create a device group:
- Go to Inventory > Groups.
- Click on the add icon
on the top right corner of the page.
- Give a name to the device group in the newly opened slide.
- Provide a description (Optional).
- Select the devices that you want to group together. You can also group the multiple device groups as one super group.
- You can also provide criteria, on which devices can be grouped together.
- By default all the newly created groups are private, that means, only authorized users will be able to view the group.. You can choose to make a group public and the group will be accessible to all the users in the network.(Note: Once a group is made public, it can't be changed to private.)
- Click on Save.
