A group is not found in the list of available groups for memberOf attribute in the account details tab while creating a new user

Reason: Active Directory and ADManager Plus database might not have been synchronised.

Solution: Refresh ADManager Plus database using these steps:

  • Click the Domain Settings link, located at top right corner of ADManager Plus window. You will now be in the Domain Configuration page, which lists all the domains that have been configured in ADManager Plus.
  • Click the refresh (kb-refresh-icon) icon located in the Actions column of the domain whose data you want to refresh.
  • From the options listed in the Update Domain Details window that pops up, select the data that you wish to synchronize.
  • Click OK to synchronize the data.
