How to identity all the empty Organizational Units (OU) in a domain?

Objective: To list all the OUs which do not contain any objects within them.

Solution: Use ADManager Plus Empty OUs report to zero in on the necessary OUs.

Using Empty OUs report

1. Click the Reports tab.
2. Go to OU Reports, and click the Empty OUs report under General Reports.
3. In Empty OUs report page, select the domains for which you wish to generate this report.
4. Hit the Generate button to view all the empty OUs in the selected domains. To export this report, use the Export As option and select the desired format.

Note: By default only a specific set of attributes/fields are displayed in the report. If you wish to view other fields/attributes too, click the Add/Remove Columns option located just above the first row of the report and select the necessary fields.
