Server Settings
Server Settings allow you to configure email servers to receive scheduled reports. Exchange Reporter Plus also provides real-time SMS notifications. You can configure SMS settings, and also choose and modify other notification settings.
Configure Mail Server
You can configure the email server settings by following the steps below:
- Click the Settings tab.
- Navigate to Admin → General Settings → Server Settings → Mail Settings.
- Enter the Server Name or IP Address, Port details, From and Admin email addresses (use commas to separate admin email addresses if you choose to provide more than one).
- Using the Test Mail option, you can send a test email to the configured email addresses to test the connectivity.
- Choose the type of connection (SSL, TLS, or none).
- If the email server requires authentication, select the Authentication check box and provide the credentials.
- Click Save Settings.
Notification Settings
You can also configure other types of notifications that you would like to receive. Choose from the list of options given under the Notification Settings section, and click Save Settings to receive the configured notifications. The options include:
- Notify admin when the license is going to expire or has expired.
- Notify admin when the remaining license count reaches the limit (provide a number in the field).
- Notifications on any kind of product updates available.
- Notifications on product-related events and workshops.
- Server or product downtime notifications.
SMS Settings
You can configure the SMS settings by following the steps below:
- Click the Settings tab.
- Navigate to Admin → General Settings → Server Settings > SMS Settings.
- Choose the type of SMS Provider from the drop-down.
- Enter the Modem Port Number.
- Under Advanced Settings, fill in the Port Speed, Message Center Number, and SIM PIN Number.
- Using the Send Test SMS option, you can send a test SMS to the numbers to test the connectivity.
- Click Save Settings.
