Configuring Proxy Server Settings - Firewall Analyzer


    Every business enterprise utilizes a proxy server to enhance internet connectivity and control access to restricted websites. Acting as an intermediary between the client and server, the proxy server provides indirect network services, ensuring security and user privacy during URL calls to other servers and more. In Firewall Analyzer, monitoring URLs over the internet requires entering your enterprise's proxy server details

    To configure proxy server in Firewall Analyzer, follow the steps given below:

    1. Go to Settings → General Settings, and click Proxy Server Settings.

    2. Select the Enable Proxy check-box.
    3. Enter the Proxy server name, port number in which the Web service is running on the proxy server, and the user name and password to connect to the proxy server.
    4. For the devices that do no require to go through a proxy, specify the name or the IP Address of the devices as a comma separated list in the No Proxy field.
    5. Click Save to save the details.

    Proxy servers are preferred when connecting to third party integrations. Firewall Analyzer has build-in support for integrating with the following third party software.
