How to generate an Application forecast report?

    1. Navigate to Reports > Forecast > Application.

      2. Network Traffic Monitoring 

    2. Select the application type (Layer 4 or Layer 7).
    3. Select the network source.
    4. Dy default all interfaces are selected, you can edit the sources by clicking on the modify select hyperlink.
    5. Select the type of report (Top 5 Applications/ Single Application/ or Custom applications)

      6. (i) Incase the Top 5 Applications option is selected

      • Select the flow type (IN or OUT)
      • Under Forecast for next, select how many days you want to forecast application usage for (7 Days is selected by default)
      • In addition you can also choose the Business hour filter, and Exclude weekends option.

      (ii) Incase the Single Application option is selected,

      • Select the Application you want to generate the report for.
        • Note: You don't select the flow type here, since NetFlow Analyzer generate both for Single Application reports.
      • Select how many days you want the forecast application usage for (by default 7 Days is selected)
      • In addition, you can also filter data using the Business Hour filter and Exclude weekends option.
    6. Click Generate Report.
