NetFlow Analyzer-ServiceDesk Plus integration

    The NetFlow Analyzer-ServiceDesk Plus integration helps technicians easily log and track alarms as tickets, and maintain ITIL standards, by logging critical alarms raised in NetFlow Analyzer as tickets in ServiceDesk. NetFlow Analyzer integrates with ManageEngine ServiceDesk(SDP) via API.

    How to integrate NetFlow Analyzer with ServiceDesk Plus?

    Steps to generate an API key in ServiceDesk Plus:

    • Login to the ServiceDesk Plus UI.
    • Click on the username on the top right and select API Key Generation.
    • In the popup window select  Never Expires and then click Generate.
    • API key is now generated and can be copied to a notepad.

    How to configure and generate an SDP ticket for alerts?

    1. Navigate to Settings → Basic Settings → Add-ons/Products Integration → ServiceDesk Plus, and configure the ServiceDesk Plus add-on integration.
    2. Save the settings.
    3. Navigate to Settings → NetFlow → Aggregated/Real-Time Alert Profiles
    4. Click on Add new profile

    6. Once you add the alert details such as name, source, criteria, thresholds, and time filter, set the alert type as Log a Ticket
