The WLC License Management option lets you manage the Access Points exporting NetFlow data to NetFlow Analyzer, depending on the license that you have purchased.
The status box at the top of the page indicates the type of license currently applied, the total number of Access Points currently managed and the remaining Access Points.
Look up Licensing to know more about upgrading your license.
The Controller List shows all the Access Points from which NetFlow exports are received, and whether they are managed or not.
To select the Controller and all its Access points check the checkbox next to the Controller name. To select a specific Access Point, check the checkbox next to the Access Point name.
Once you have selected the required, click the Manage button to manage these Access Points. This means that flows received from these Access Points will be processed by NetFlow Analyzer, and traffic graphs and reports can be generated.
The maximum number of Access Points that can be managed, depends on the current license applied.

Click the Unmanage button to unmanage these Access Points. This means that flows received from these Access Points will be dropped by NetFlow Analyzer. However they will still be listed in the Controller List in the WLC License Management page.

Click the Delete button to delete these Access Points. This means that these Access Points are completely removed from all screens of the NetFlow Analyzer client.
However, if flows are still being sent from these Access Points to NetFlow Analyzer, they will reappear in the Inventory. To prevent this, you need to disable NetFlow export from those Access Points.
If a NetFlow packet is received from a new Access Point, and the number of Access Points presently managed is less than that allowed in the current license, this Access Point is listed under Controller List on the Inventory with a message saying new flows have been received. You need to click the WLC License Management option and change this Access Point's status to Managed in order to include this Access Point in the list of managed Access Points, and also generate traffic graphs and reports for the same.
If a NetFlow packet is received from a new Access Point, and the number of Access Points presently managed is equal to that allowed in the current license, you need to either unmanage any other managed Access Points, and then manage this Access Point, or leave this Access Point in New status. In any case graphs and reports can be generated only for managed Access Points
