The Password Manager Pro team rolls out regular release updates based on various priorities, including customer expectations and market demands. The types of releases include major, minor, and hotfix releases.

  • Major releases normally carry major function additions, new features and enhancements. We have a major release once every quarter.
  • Minor releases carry function enhancements and bug fixes. Minor releases typically happen once every 2-4 weeks.
  • Hotfix releases are done as and when required, especially to fix a customer issue or a security update.

Typically, the new versions of the product are provided as upgrade packs in the form of PPM and can be applied over the existing installation. The upgrade is quite a simple process and the upgrade packs are freely available to all customers at no separate cost. However, if you need our support team’s assistance with upgrades, you need to have an active annual support and maintenance (AMS) subscription.

Feature updates or new releases for the product are regularly released by our development team in line with customer needs and market trends. Any specific customization requirement can be communicated with our technical support team and the required features will be delivered as professional services.

End of support: Product support lifecycle information

After every major release, we provide technical support for the legacy versions for a considerable period of time to help our customers upgrade or migrate. We recommend that our users upgrade to the latest version of Password Manager Pro to get full benefits of our new features, feature enhancements, critical bug fixes, and the flexibility to opt for special add-ons and plugins.
