Steps to change Microsoft 365 passwords

To ensure a user's Microsoft 365 password is secure, it should be changed regularly. To change a Microsoft 365 password:

  1. Sign in to office.com/signin with the work or school account credentials.
  2. Go to Settings > Password.
  3. Enter the old password.
  4. Create a new password and confirm it.
  5. Select Submit to finish and change the password.
